Schools Linking

Welcome and Enjoy

Welcome to Schools Linking

Here you will find plenty of ideas and resources to help you work on a joint project which is both equitable and meaningful for children in the UK and in Malawi.

A Malawi school link can provide context, meaning and real value to global education in your classroom, helping your students become more aware of serious world issues such as climate change, diversity, justice and equality. It will help them to participate in both their local and wider communities and understand how their actions can make a positive difference to others.

Through global citizenship education, young people are able to solve problems, make decisions, think critically, communicate ideas effectively and work well with others. This not only helps them personally and educationally but eventually professionally as well.

We are very excited about our latest project ‘Clean Hands’ which covers a range of topics including health and hygiene and first aid.

Why not design and build your own tippy tap, or go on a health walk to map the facilities in your local area?

Then share your learning with your partner school using a messaging service such as WhatsApp. Our activities are very much ‘cross-curricular’ and have been designed to be relevant and achievable for schools in both countries, not to mention great fun!
