Many of you have asked for ideas on how and what to fundraise for your linked school. So we thought we’d create a page where we can share what other schools have done and the fundraising events that Starfish Malawi had on throughout the year

Bewl Water Annual Sponsored Walk -

Saturday, 8th June 2024

This is one of Starfish Malawi’s biggest fundraising events of the year and we’re thrilled to be able to hold it at the stunning Bewl Water Reservoir. Last year we raised over £3,100!

Normally, the money raised goes to support our work with Glad Tidings Orphan Care (GTOC) in Malawi. However, we have decided to allow schools to choose between raising money for GTOC or their own linked school in Malawi.

Horsted Primary School in Chatham did a sponsored ‘Santa Run’ in December before they broke up for Christmas. They raised an impressive £220 for their linked school, Mtiya. Thank you so much!
